Are the lives of the higher ups in terms of financial status and job position more important than that belonging to the lower caste?
Take for example, if the end of the world is tomorrow, and there’s one vessel like that in Noah’s Arc that could save a limited number of living beings, does the rich, the powerful, the mighty, get the slots first? Are they entitled for reserve seating just because they did well, again in terms of financial status, on earth?
Is life a game of chess? Your boss, the king, you should protect at all costs? And the lives of the workers, the pawns, are meaningless and can be discarded any time?
In an economic standpoint, one could argue that the life of a Sy, a Tan, a Gokongwei, an Ayala, to name a few, weigh more than the life of an unknown minimum wage earner at the bottom of the corporate ladder because they are the head of those big time companies providing jobs to millions or probably billions of Filipinos out there. They are the VIPs.
But who are we to say whose life is more important than whom? Who are you?
To you. To the arrogant fool who thinks death would pass on you and pick only on the weak. You will never buy your way to salvation. I pity you for ever thinking that your life is more important than another person's life.
Well, fuck you. Fuck this fucked up system. Fuck the fucking corporate setting. No I'm not going to succumb or yield in this ridiculous adult world you're all talking about. I refuse. I so adamantly refuse.
